DTF Heat Press Settings

Our custom DTF Transfers are full color and can be applied to a variety of apparel (T-shirts, Caps and more) and to a variety of fabric types including cotton, poly, blends and more. All you need is a heat press. Below are the recommended heat press instructions for use with our transfers:

DTF Heat Transfer Pressing Instructions

Adjust your heat press to high-pressure for DTF

After setting, close the heat press and test pressure with an envelope, should not be able to be pulled out easily.

Cotton > 300°F > 7-10secs

50/50 Blends > 300°F > 7-10secs

Polyester > 275°F > 7-10secs

Tri-blends > 275°F > 7-10secs

FINAL FINISH: For a matte finish, press a second time with kraft paper for 7-10secs with less (medium) pressure.

PEEL TECHNIQUE: Once the heat press is opened, peel film within 10-20 seconds ( or less depending on your Film type).

Peel from one edge slowly to the other, in a rolling motion.

It's good practice to test garments before large volume production begins, every situation is custom.
